M3 from last night.

Post by Dunmunro » 21 Feb 2026, 20:30

This image of M3 was obtained on Feb 20 - 21: 42 x 5min subs (3hrs 30min) through a 10in F8 SCT (using a Starizona LF SCT reducer) and an ASI071MC Pro camera, Meade LPI-GM advanced guide camera (gain 70), on a CEM60 mount. All aspects of image acquisition, centring, autofocus and OAG autoguiding, starting with the mount parked, was robotically controlled by Astroart-9 SP3. All processing with AA9 SP3. I recommissioned this 36 year old Meade 10in F10 SCT to temporarily replace my 10in F6.3 SCT, pending having it's secondary mirror re-aluminized.
