IC63 from last night

Post by Dunmunro » 22 Dec 2025, 15:43

IC63 from last night. This is a challenging target due to the faint, mag 13 nebula, and the intense glare from GAIA_DR2 - Gamma CAS, which is a mag 1.8 star! The star has created a flare/aberration in the diagonally opposite corner right on top of more nebulosity.

55 x 5min subs for 275min integration time. 10in F8 SCT on a CEM120 with an ASI071 camera.
