Image after Plate solving

After using either the find co-ordinates option in AA7 or the Plate Sole option in AA* the FITS image becomes mostly black with only a few brighter objects visible, if I open the FITS image in other software eg CCDCiel it appears normal. Does anyone else get this behaviour?
