Help with image processing

Post by maplearn » 15 Apr 2022, 12:52

Been getting good results with image processing but having problems with the Cat's Eye Nebula, the surface of the nebula is very dim despite stacking 20 ten minute
exposures. Any suggestions for bringing out the colors? Happy to provide a link to the flats, darks, flat darks and all the images. Stacked image is the link below.

Thanks,

Ernie

Try the DDP filter:
Gamma = 90
Whitepoint = 20
background = 0

It would be useful to take a look at all files of preprocessing.
