In using the Find Stars function I don't think the ADU filter is being used. If I set the ADU filter to 0 and run Find Stars, I then look at the found stars on the image and center on one that is faint. I then rerun Find Stars but with a larger value for ADU (the min value, left column). It makes no difference, the star is still selected. Using a very faint star on the image I can set the ADU filter to 2000000 and it still finds the star. I am assuming the ADU filter is compared to the sum of the pixels in the aperture and if the sum is less than the ADU value the star is rejected?
