How to specify FIT format?

Post by Rudi » 27 Oct 2019, 07:10

The AA7 help says:
If just one pixel has a value outside the range 0 to 65535 ADU or it is expressed as a floating point value, Astroart will save the file as a 32 bit FITS (integer or floating point).
How do I switch between making AA7 save as 32-bit float and 32-bit integer?

One of the sub systems on a project I am participating in, requires 32-bit float FIT files.

Hi, before saving, menu Edit / Data format / Floating point.

In the status bar of the image the range "R = ..." will be expressed as "RF = ..."
