Trichromy - large images?

Post by einari » 30 Sep 2019, 04:34

Is there a limit how big images can be fed?
I have made a 3x2 mosaic which is over 5000 pixels in size.
Now when I'm doing Trichromy and adding second channel it deletes the first.

Hi, if you think that it's a memory issue you may use the 64 bit version or the LAA version. By the way, is 5000 pixel the final size of the image, or it' 5000 x 3 x 2?

I tried both 64bit and LAA version and same result.
End mosaic size is about 5000 x 5700 pixels.

OK, so this is not a memory problem, probably the images have just different size. Use the command "Image/Border" to cut a few pixels from the bigger image to match the size of the smaller image. In a future SP there will be a notice about this.

You were right that they were different size.
Good to know that there's going to be warning of this in the future.
