In the statistics report there is listed, "Pixel scale". However, in the help there is no discussion of what this means or how it was derived. Would appreciate any information available on the issue.

Pixel Scale is shown in the stats output when the image has been plate solved. Pixel Scale = the width, in arc seconds, of an individual pixel.

Pixel Scale should be accompanied by Field of View, in arc minutes and seconds and image rotation in degrees:
Name ........... #1 M42AFmar6_010.fit
Path ........... C:\FTP\ASTRO_PHOTOS\Fits\AA7\
Size ........... 3040 x 2024
Field of view .. 46.36' x 30.89' , -79.7°
Pixel scale .... 0.92" x 0.92"
Center ......... 05 35 33.7 -05 27 57
Pixels ......... 6152960
Min ............ 548 @ 2204,1947
Max ............ 37879 @ 1731,929
Background ..... 848
Average ........ 1239.1576
Sum ............ 7624487016
Std.deviation .. 1434.7681
as per the Stats output from this image of M42 via a 10in Meade SCT @F6.9.
