Lucky Imaging problem

Post by brujo » 21 Aug 2019, 20:44

I have pre-processed a few hundred images with an exposure of 5 seconds.
But when I stack them, the final image is very grained (left image).
Doing the same with Deep Sky Stacker produces a much better result (right image).
I use default settings in both programs.
I wonder if there are any settings that can solve this in AstrtoArt.

The settings seem different: the image on the left seems an Average Combine while the image on the right seems a Sigma Combine (or dark corrected).

You are right!
After selecting sigma it looks much better.

Thanks.
