Visualization

Is it possible to set the visualisation slider values numerically?
I just saw in another thread, that the settings are saved in the fits file.
However, when working on an image, I sometimes adjust visualisation with either the mouse wheel or the sliders, but if I regret, I don’t know how to roll back to previous values.

Yes, with SHIFT+F4 (or right click over the image then "View Range/...").

By the way a default visualization range can be obtained clicking on the Status Bar of the image, or pressing F4 (or F3 for a min-max visualization).

On 8 bit images, press SHIFT+F3 for a 0..255 visulization (or Menu: "Visualization/CCD range"). On 16 bit images this sets a visualization of 0..65535.

If another image is opened, it's also possible to press CTRL+E to force all images with the same visualization thresholds (or Menu: "View/Equalize visualization").

Pressing F5, F6, F7, F8 adjusts the transfer function which also affects the visualization.
