Photometric Color Calibration

Post by Rudi » 21 Apr 2019, 09:13

Sometimes it is challenging to balance RGB colors correctly. Other software products have automated this, so that is is possible to select a reference star with a known Color and calibrate the image from this.
E.g. PixInsight is capable of doing just that:

Is this possible to do in AstroArt?
Otherwise it would be a great candidate for the whishlist 😉

Thanks and Happy Easter 🐣

Hello, it's not possible.
As an alternative I can suggest the commands White Balance (both Algorithm and Bias) then Color Curves.
