I tried several times by stopping and restarting the PC: none. what is surprising is that with Maxim dl demo it find without problem the camera! ??? Thank you for your help

Hello, the parallel port driver may not work anymore on latest Windows (but you could try executing Astroart in Administrator mode). If your modified webcam uses signals from the parallel port, it may be no longer possible to trigger long exposures (verify this with Maxim).
Meanwhile, you could test the camera connection using the "VIDEO" driver instead of the "MODCAM" one.
Fabio.

Hello, if the camera has an integrated ST4 autoguide port, it won't be controlled by the Video driver.
If not, you can still autoguide with other connections. I suggest to set the lowest frame rate in the Video driver (for example 5 fps), then if you set an autoguide exposure time of 1 second, five frames will be automatically added into a single image. This will give you 10 bits of dynamic instead of 8 bits.

Thanks for this information Fabio! My QHY-5 has a video driver, maybe the 10 bit range will ease the issue I was asking you about.
