Lunatico Dragonfly

Post by Wayne Hawley » 10 May 2026, 19:13

I have bought a Lunatico Dragonfly and have it running on its own software but cannot get AstroArt 9 with SP4 to see the sensors or relays. I can use the switches in AA with the Simulator.

I am using Windows 11, any suggestions on what I need to change would be appreciated.

I am also using the Dragonfly together with AA. It seems the ASCOM driver for the Dragonfly is not directly useable in AA. I was able to work around this by using the "DarkSkyGeek.SwitchHub" by Julien Lecomte. I found the reference on the ASCOM website: https://ascom-standards.org/Downloads/SwitchDrivers.htm.
The ASCOM driver is available on Github via https://github.com/jlecomte/ascom-switch-hub/releases. If you choose this as the ASCOM driver from "DarkSkyGeek.SwitchHub" for your switch (and set the no. of active switches to 16 and select "multi-state"), you will be able to read the sensors and use the swiches from within AA. It is even possible to use it with scripts.
I hope this helps and would love to hear if it works for you.
Sincerely
Bernd
