Hi, at the Astroart web site it's available the new plugin for ASCOM cameras, version 2.80, compatible with Astroart 9,8,7,6.
The new version supports direct download of color images (which is sometimes the standard mode for new cameras).
Obviously this is still a "bad" mode (3X disk space, difficult flat field and dark frame correction, unknown algorithm used, imprecise photometry), but it could be interesting for live events (although Astroart has already an option to automatically debayer images at download).
If you don't need this feature, there is no need to upgrade.
