Astroart 9 - suggestion for new annotation options

Post by pscharff » 28 Sep 2024, 08:52

Hello,

I really like the new feature of Astroart 9, to annotate the image by importing objects of the star atlas.

At the moment one can choose the color for the different types of objects, but perhaps it is possible to add an option for choosing individual figures and figure sizes of the different object types in a future service pack (for example a circle for a star cluster and a smaller circle or a cross for an asteroid).

Clear skies,
Patric

OK, I have seen now, that I can annotate the image in multiple steps, if I disable the option "Delete previous annotations".

Then I have got another question: Is it possible, to increase the setting for the size of the annotation figure? At the moment it seems like, that the max value is "300".

Clear skies,
Patric

OK. Meanwhile, in AA9 it's possible to select and edit many annotations at once, so from the menu click "Select all", then use the "+" button to increase the size of all annotations.
Meanwhile, for example, to transform several circles into squares, CTRL + Click on the desired objects, then change the figure from the dialog window.
Thanks, Fabio.

Another suggestion.
Would it be possible to add annotation to coordinates, for plate solved image?
