Hello,
it would be useful to see the screenshot of the SXVH driver too.
First test: connect only the Lodestar X2 to the PC, and setup it as main camera. Does it work?
Second test: as above, but select the Simulator as primary camera and the Lodestar as Guider. Does it work?

Re: profile of selected rectangle?
Hello Ken, yes there's a command for this: select the 200x13 rectangle, then Menu Image/Binning/Average Y

Re: New cometary filter ?
Hello, similar filters are included in Astroart 7 (the "Comet" filter)
They support another feature very useful for comet processing: the movement of the photometric center in real time (the X and Y options).

Re: Startup parameters
Dear Arnold,
to do that you need to create another installation folder for the second instance (just make a copy).
Inside the second instance you must create a folder called "Config" which will be used for the .ini files.
I suggest to don't create that installation folder in Program Files.

Re: Sequencer AA7
The current autofocus always selects the brightest star.
Maybe the focus exposure time was too short? On some fields an exposure time of 2 seconds may be necessary to get an acceptable star.
OK, I will write you by PM when ready. (But only increasing the exposure time will solve).

Updated plugin for DSLR images
Hello, an updated plugin for DSLR images is available at the Astroart web site:
http://www.msb-astroart.com
Most new cameras are supported (it's based on the DCRAW 9.28), except the new CR3 of the Canon M50, and the compressed RAF from Fuji cameras.
Clear skies,
Fabio.

Astroart 7 under Mac for image processing
Hello,
just like under Linux, thanks to WINE or Crossover it's possible to run Astroart under Mac OS (only for image processing, not camera control).
Here is a screenshot from a Mac user:

Re: Sequencer AA7
If I add Guider.MoveReference() and Camera.Autofocus() to the script it will autofocus and dither but will ignore the dither options (and not signal PHD2) set in the SEQUENCE tab and I cannot use spiral dither. I have a steep temperature drop at my observatory and I must autofocus between images an...

Re: User Manual
Hello, the manual is in PDF format, A5 size, intended to be printed two pages per sheet or viewed on tablets or PCs. The format is similar to this one: www.astroart-forum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=78 At the PC, it shows PDF hyperlinks, so it can be used just like the Help guide. Correct, the tut...

Re: Sequencer AA7
Hello, 1) I don't undestand well the question: do you need to start autoguiding inside the script (with commands like "Guider.StartAutoguide") or manually? Do you mean the the options are not remembered at startup or even between sequences? 2) Yes of course. The current Autofocus window was not link...

Astroart 7 under Linux for image processing
Hello, thanks to WINE, Astroart can usually be used well under Linux (not for camera control, only for image processing). In the past there were only some minor glitches in drag & drop and font scaling , which now should be solved. About WINE see: https://www.winehq.org/ Greg T. sent me the followin...
