It looks like the distortions from F5 and from F7 are too different, even for that option. May you post the two separate images?

Updated ASCOM plugin v2.72
Hello, an updated plugin for ASCOM cameras is available at: https://www.msb-astroart.com/down_en.htm#cameracontrol which fixes two possible problems: 1) Setting an invalid temperature could block the plugin. 2) The ASCOM Chooser may not show up. If these two errors do not affect your camera, there's...

Re: 64bit Camera plugin - it works!
No, it does not update camera plugins, use those two files to change between 2.60 and 2.70, but to uninstall 2.70 you also need to delete those two files "_64ASCOM.dll". Looking at other forums it seems that a 64 bit ASCOM driver for the StarShot does not exist. So the only solution is to delete tho...

Re: 64bit Camera plugin - it works!
It looks like that the StarShoot ASCOM driver is 32 bit only. with an internet search: starshoot ascom 64 bit it's possible to find the same issue on other software, for example: https://aptforum.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=2395 At the Orion web site the latest ASCOM driver is version "100209", maybe ...

Re: Star Atlas query
Hi, the new option "Astrometry" selects the best stars with a different algorithm: instead of selecting the highest S/N it tries an uniform coverage of the image, which is useful for mapping optical distortions. However this is imporant only when less the 50 stars are used: try for example with 20 s...

Re: 64bit Camera plugin - it works!
Hi, I didn't understand "broke access", may you explain? what happened exactly? 32 bit or 64 bit? By the way it's possible that the first time v2.70 is used it's required to select again the camera from the ASCOM Chooser. The previous version is still available, you may switch between them without r...

Hello Bernd, thanks, that's very interesting. OK it will be added immediately for SP4. Please write me by email next week to receive the pre-release. P.S. I forgot to write that to update the language ("Optical distortions" is not translated in the screenshot) it's required to download the updated l...

Re: How to measure planet disk position in an image?
Hello Martin, it could be done with a simple script, see for example the second example here: https://www.astroart-forum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=586 for example: x1 = Image.Rectangle.X1 y1 = Image.Rectangle.Y1 x2 = Image.Rectangle.X2 y2 = Image.Rectangle.Y2 if x1 = x2 then Message("Please sele...
