I would do that with Photoshop (or some other similar software).

Have you tried different demosaic settings ?

I just tried like Dunmunro with my C8@1390mm and iOptron CEM60-EC mount.
Find coordinates worked but the rest - Center (plate solve) did not.

Would it be possible to implement filter used here:

Update: I lowered the threshold to 1.5 and only one in stack, then 1.8 and 3 were rejected from stack.

Coming back to this older thread.
I stacked frames with AA7 using reject images and it seemed to accept all even if I set FWHM threshold as low as 2.
