Re: focus window and operation
I have resolved this problem with the help of you all and Fabio. I was trying to do this on my own previous images until it was pointed out that I needed to be live. It worked just fine the other night live with a bright star using my refractor at f6 with a bayer matrex narrow band filter( OPT's). I...

Re: focus window and operation
I opened up several images with small stars, placed the square around them in AA6 and AA7. same result no consent square just an oscillation square of white and dark squares in the focus box despite readouts of less than 1. I looked for this little triangle you mentioned next to the readouts. I coul...

Re: focus window and operation
scope can be either a c14 hyperstar using a starlight xpress sxvm25c or a 175 f8 triplet reduced to a fl of 1050 and again a starlight xpress camera either sxvr m25c or sxvm25c. I have tried various binning and exposure . lenghts. really all i ever see is the shuddering window of multiple little squ...

focus window and operation
I have experience continued consternation with the focus routine. I have only once seen a single pixel in the middle of the focus field despite having readouts of the fwhm at less than 1.5. I have been manually focusing but will be changing to autofocus. Just like the instructions; take an image, dr...

I am a long time user of AA since version 4. Now using 6 and 6.2 to run my starlight xpress m25c camera. Last night I imaged with it and downloaded images of file size 12021, tonight with same settings it would produce image size of 11942. I restarted the software several times. doubled checked for ...

AA6 or AA7 Meridian flips
I have AA6 and would probably upgrade to AA7 but I am frustrated with no identified pathway for meridian flips. I looked thru the script files. Nothing has jumped out to me. I looked for help on the various UTube videos on AA5 and 6. I am not a programer and do no want to be writing some script set ...

LAA version of AA6
Iam trying a new camera, ASI 1071 mc pro. As I try to center an object after ten frames I get the following error message: out of memory use LAA Version of AA. What is this? I have never received this before using one of my starlight xpress cameras. Thanks Cjacobson
