For this research the command "Image.Align" works well.
If you just need to blink, there is also the command "Image.BlinkAlign" that was used for this discover:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=247
the examples are in the Guide, "Script" chapter.

Re: coregister with SCRIPT
No, but you can use the script command " Image.Align "
You can configure the Align window so that the Scale is corrected as well, if needed.
What is the goal of your script? Maybe there is another solution.

Re: avi look strange
Yes, the problem was 8 bit palette, "Colour Space=MONO8" (actually this is not 8 bit grayscale, it's 256-palette where every entry is a gray tone). It was patched today, it will be released in Service Pack 2. If you need a prerelease please write me by email. Here is the result of Preprocessing (16 ...

Re: Is 60s good enough?
Hello, in my opinion, a system which is able to track well 60 seconds exposures (95% of them) is an excellent one and does not need guiding. Just take 60-seconds sequences and automatically stack them. My opinion is driven by productivity (loss of time for setting up the autoguide vs loss of time/sp...

Re: Ambient temperature in FITS header?
Hello, the FITS keyword to be used is not a problem.
The feature to be added is to read the ambient temperature from the focuser and store it to images downloaded from the camera. This could be an interesting option for the Service Pack 2.

Re: RGB horizontal stripes
The luminance has a dark border on top, this means that dithering was working and there is some shift between the images. The green image has not the border. Maybe dithering was disabled? Verify that there is some shift in the green sequence. Verify also that the dark frame are updated (taken in the...

Re: RGB horizontal stripes
Also: are using an average of 8 or more dark frames? That is camera noise, there are still some hot pixels.

Re: AStroart 7 photometry & Astrometry question
Hi,
AFAIK the UCAC4 can be downloaded only via FTP (maybe there are some torrents too?)
So, you will need a FTP software: if you choose Filezilla remember to set "binary mode" in the Options, otherwise the download will be corrupted.

Re: avi look strange
Hello, it looks like that this subformat is not supported (maybe it's 8 bit palette ?). If possible, you should save as 24 bit RGB from the video program which created that. About this video, if really important, it could be converted with a video software.

Re: AStroart 7 photometry & Astrometry question
Do you see a writing "Not found - GSC..." in the upper-left zone of the atlas?
This means that the C:/... folder was not selected in the Preferences

Re: AStroart 7 photometry & Astrometry question
Hello, the GSC catalog is not internal, it's located in the folder "GSCData" of the CD and it should be copied on the harddisk, in a folder where you usually keep your astronomic data. Then that folder should be set in the Preferences of the star atlas. There are better catalogs by the way, for exam...

Re: Autofocusing in the sequencer
Hi, it takes a sequences of images (user defined, for example 5, 7, 9) and calculates the V-curve from them. For example, for 7 images, the focuser is moved backward for 3 "steps" and then moved forward for 7 "steps", so that 3 images are taken backward, 1 at the original position and 3 forward, all...
