ZWO ASI 120mm Mini
The ZWO ASI 120mm Mini appears to be working perfectly under AA7 using the ZWO ASCOM driver. The use of subframes with 1x1 and 2x2 binning with 16bit data works fine.

Re: Camera and filter wheel no longer connecting
Are you using a powered USB hub? It might be necessary to power the hub down to get the camera and FW to reset. This is the SX Yahoo group. Terry Platte from SX monitors it. There have been some issues reported regarding filterwheels: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/starlightxpress/conversations...

Re: SX 814 m vs. c selection
Here's the SX readme notes: To install this plug-in copy the file d_sxvh.dll and this guide into the Astroart folder. Remember that the Starlight-Xpress USB software and drivers must be installed as well, you may download them from the SX website. SETUP Start Astroart and click Camera from the menu ...

Re: Camera and filter wheel no longer connecting
Sometimes when the PC boots it reorders the USB and com port assignments, especially if any new gear is present.
I guess you're using the native SX drivers?

Re: Camera and filter wheel no longer connecting
Have you changed the USB port for the cable from the Hub to the PC?
It's really tough to work through these issues when not at the PC.

Re: Camera and filter wheel no longer connecting
How are they connected to the PC? Do they connect through the SX camera?
I haven't used a filter wheel, but does the filterwheel window ask for a com or USB port?

Re: Initial alignment/Star Atlas/Plate Solve
oh boy, will give it a go will plate solve work on not-so-well-focused images? One of my problems is trying to learn too many things at once, resulting in not learning them at all. Moonlite focuser new and filter wheel with OAG new (but not using guiding yet) and of course, anything in AA7 new. I a...

Re: SX 814 m vs. c selection
I don't think it matters for actual camera control but you can indicate the camera type in the File->preferences->observer tab to have it written to the image fits header. AA7 will (IIRC) be able to recognize and debayer the 814C images when required as that info is provided by the internal camera f...

Re: Initial alignment/Star Atlas/Plate Solve
My initial alignment is off and my scope is way too up high to use the finder scope. I was hoping to use the Star Atlas tool to help me align or plate solve. I noticed that the Star Atlas does not open - I get an error saying: GSC not found. Do I need to down load this atlas from another source? Wh...

Re: AP Mach 1 not slewing
Yeah- that was not working either BUT I got it working now. I don't know what happened but all I did was get out of the program, get back in and it worked. Slewing was fine, camera connected, filter wheel connected, focuser connected (but need to check settings) and took a couple 30s images before ...

I don't have access to AA7 on this PC.
The telescope control window has a tab entitled "MOVE".
Using that tab can you command the mount to move at any of the motor speeds available - guide, find, centre, slew?
