Re: AARemote 64bit?

Hi Fabio,

Unfortunately my host "language" is 64bit only. Worst case I can write a small comms layer for AARemote and run it in a stand-alone 32bit process. However, if it is not too much trouble to build me a 64bit AARemote that would be far preferable.

Cheers,
Andrew.

Re: AARemote 64bit?

Hi Andrew,
at the moment it's not available, but I guess that I could recompile it easily as 64 bit.
By the way, the 32 bit DLL works well under Windows 64. It doesn't work only if your client software is compiled for 64 bit.
Is this the case? Which compiler?
Thanks,
Fabio.

AARemote 64bit?

Hi Fabio

I was wondering if there was any possibility of a 64bit AARemote.dll? I might have missed it, but it looks like the only download option is 32bit.

Cheers,
Andrew.

Camera Interface 6.2 Beta

Hi Fabio, When using Camera Interface 6.2 Beta with Starlight-Xpress SXV/SXVR/Trius Version 2.91 camera control, the guider window control will lock up after initiating a sequence with the main camera. I tried variations of settings within the camera control options (Multitasking & Synchronization) ...

Re: Image sequencer unstable with Canon 1100d DSLR

Thanks for the information. I'm considering the "managed" driver 2.80 quite obsolete now. After many tests the new "native" driver is always recommended, unless you have an old camera (300D - 350D - 20D) or an extremely new one (800 D) which may be not supported yet by the native driver. The develop...

Re: Image sequencer unstable with Canon 1100d DSLR

Sorry for the delay I had forgotten my password and the reset password sequence is next to impossible to use! In fact I gave up and tried creating another account…What constellation is Arcturus in, I put Bootes and it was wrong? A question about Ursar Major. Fabio maybe you need to make the reset qu...

Re: Image sequencer unstable with Canon 1100d DSLR

Update: Fabio recomended to use the Canon native driver. And it works better, at least for a test sequence of 20 images. When using the native driver, remember that EOS Utility must not run, then it will block for the native drive connection to the camera. Another advise Fabio told me: >>During long...

Re: Image sequencer unstable with Canon 1100d DSLR

Hi - did you find any solution to your problems "Droogie 2001"? I think that I have similar challenges; my AA6 and Canon 1000D gets out of sync after a number of exposures when running a sequence. All of the sudden, AA6 thinks that the shutter is open when it is closed and visa versa. I am currently...

Re: Image sequencer unstable with Canon 1100d DSLR

It is not specifically longer than 30 secs. It just seems if I fire off different exposures it seems to stop working, I have not confirmed it is the actual different exposure times or just simply the process itself. I then have to click the virtual shutter button on the Canon EOS Utility to stop the...

Re: Image sequencer unstable with Canon 1100d DSLR

So, it fails only with exposures longer than 30 seconds?
