Select how to build the final image and the master dark frame and flat field. "Sum" and "Average" are best methods in terms of...

Make sure you have the ASCOM platform installed, the ZWO ASCOM driver and the Astroart ASCOM plugin from the Astroart website installed.

Re: BASIC Programming Language

I've had no experience with BASIC but by looking at the script commands and examples in the documentation I've been able to cobble together a collection of scripts that I use all the time. When I get stuck or frustrated I ask a question here or send Fabio an email. The sequencer also has a helpful f...

Re: Running Astroart on two computers

Hi, and welcome to the forum. Here is what it says on the website.
"You have the right to use Astroart on all your PC's, if you are a single user. (example: desktop at home, notebook outdoor)."

Re: Automation of meridian flip

For flip detection you could use "Guider.LostStar" in your imaging script. If it returns True then have the script go to a sub script that starts with a pause long enough to be sure the flip has completed. Then takes an image, solve and sync to the image and GoTo your target. re calibrate your guide...

Re: Preprocessing command

I'm not aware of a processing command. You could definitely script some of your processing using the image, star, masking commands and the macro script command.

Re: autofocusing noobie q

Yes that is how it works.
The focuser must be ASCOM.
To activate the Autofocus you need to put 99999 in the focus section.

Here are screen shots of the sections I referred to.

Re: autofocusing noobie q

Hi Martin, if you are using ver.7 latest service pack. The sequencer can be set up to do what you want. Go to the AA help topics and search for Autofocus to learn how to set it up. Then search for sequence that will explain how to incorporate auto focus in a sequence. Here is a very simple sequence ...

Re: autoguiding query

I'm just guessing, since you said your balance was so perfect it might be a slight bit of play in the worm. You may want to try keeping your balance slightly heavy to the East.
