Re: Astroart 7.0 SP2

Yes, thanks Fabio - I have just installed SP2. And tonight there will be clear skies, for the first time in more than a month (this fall has been extremely misserable in Denmark)
I am looking forward to try the full frame focus feature.

Save "Points" used for gradient removal

I have some challenges with my DIY flats box, so I am now relying on AstroArt's excelent gradient removal tools. I have just "discovered" the Filters ->Remove gradient -> Points function, which works better than the "automatic" methods in many cases. (perhaps AstroArt selects points within nebulosit...

Preprossing error

Hi, An error occurs with the 4'th image, when I am trying to stack. What can I try to let AA7 succeed? Any parameters that I can tweak? Re: creating Hubble palette

I tried both the above methods, but I wasn't pleased with the result. Then I "stumbled" over a thread on stargazers lounge, can't re-find it, unfortunately, where someone mentioned, that in the case of H-alpha and O-III, one needs to create a "synthetic" green channel, by multiplying H-alpha with O-...

I found this Youtube video:

The trick is to use the Ha and OIII images as follows in Trichomy:
Red: Ha
Green: OIII
Blue: Ha
