Saving calibrated lights for multisession

I am working on a project, that will last for months. So I will for certain gather lights that will require different sets of calibration frames, because I may shift the camera, or new dust donoughts may show up. Which will all require new flats. To be able to stack sets of lights that is ascociated...

Re: Setteling time when using Center

Thanks Iver. That will do for me.
I am also asking on behalf of a “senior” friend of mine. Don’t know how comfortable he is with scripts ;-)

Setteling time when using Center

Is it possible to add a mount settling time to be used for the "Center" function? I am trying to use it from the GUI, but mostly it fails, since it re-slews and immediately takes the next exposure, resulting in elongated stars, due to some backlash on my axes, which again makes the platesolve fail. ...

Re: Arrays?

For character arrays, you may use strings: filters = "LRRGGBB" For i = 1 to Len(filters) Print filters[i] Next i for string arrays, you may use the { } syntax, see the example: Menu / Demos / Basic 4 for generic arrays, the standard Dim keyword is supported, but this feature is currently experiment...

Re: Pause PHD2 when FF AF?

Thanks Fabio and Iver. Once I have completed my script and tested it, I will share it here on forum. The idea is to be create a mosaic in the atlas, and then "copy for telescope list" and paste that into the script, which will then run a sequence on each panel. @fabio: the "copy for telescope list" ...

Re: Pause PHD2 when FF AF?

Thank! Exactly what I was looking for.
I am making a script to create mosaics.
I will be needing to do some “centering” slew/platesolve. And I looked in the help, but didn’t find any script commands for this new feature. I guess I’ll have to make a script function for that then ;-)

Re: Pause PHD2 when FF AF?

The scripting solution worked fine. I tested it last night. @fabio: Is there a way to let PHD settle after resuming? I had a look at APPSTATE, but there's no "setteling" state, there just: Guiding, Paused, Calibrating, Looping, Stopped, LostLock I could pause for some seconds, but on my setup, PHD2 ...

Germany doesn’t go above 55°N (well, a minute part of the island Sild does) and not much of Canada is above either ;-)

Re: Pause PHD2 when FF AF?

Sounds like you get out about as often as I do! :( . I'm going to start building an observatory soon, hopefully I'll get more imaging done! BTW prior to AA8 I suggested to Fabio that it would be great if a script could be executed from the sequencer, that would solve your problem. Well, at my latit...
