Jep, It's convert automatic RGB to a Luminans so it's easy to use it as a mask. I have found the command I was looking for.. With a color image > color > Luminance. I can use most of the color command with mask. But not the white balance.. Not that I need it, but where to find what is mask sensitive...

Hi Astroart Im trying to get rid of other tools than AA8 When i process, some time I need a "luminans mask". Easy done in GIMP. But I want to stay in AA8. I cant use the Mask tool i gess. So maybe turn a color pic. Into a luminans version. And save as PNG to be loaded as Mask. What's the most correc...

Hi' Trying some tests with my Flats. If I Process a master Flat >division with a duplicate... I Get a perfect grayscale like this (No science only math :) FlatDivFlat.jpg If I then change the display setting in any way I can't get back to the same look. How is that ? Hi Trying to figure out how to make Master frame. In preprocess I can load my dark and flats. I don't load any Lights, resulting in master frame. But.... How about the settings. Yes R will be close to Ha.
But OIII is a mix of G & B
It will not work to add G+B.
I gees that's the reason it has to be done before Debayering so only part of GB are taken into account. I know its not the same as with monochrome camera. But the results look good
