Once you load the images you want to stack go to options. Next select either Auto align or Manual align. Auto align will allow you to select multiple options, manual align will open an image that you select the star to align on. Hope this helps.

Maybe Fabio or another user has some ideas. You can try the ASCOM user forum they my be able to determin what the problem is by looking at the ASCOM log files.

I'm confused by what you are trying to do. It sounds like you have the mini PC outfitted to run all your equipment and use remote desk top to operate the remote computer. If that is what you are doing you should not have ALPACA discovery enabled.

Hi Dave, I don't think you should be trying to connect to ASCOM remote/Alpaca if you are using remote desktop.
