Hello, Re Astroart 8 SP1. I use the GAIA2 Catalogue. I understand the intended purpose of the Star Atlas Find function is to display the position of stars, minor planets and deep sky objects. Seeing as how the HIP reference is available - wondering why there is no Find for stars also (unless I misse...

Astrometry in AA8
Hello, Following the Astrometry example (AA8 User's Manual p. 96) Please see attached image. When I place the cursor at the centre of the image I see in the status line the same RA and DEC values as shown in the Astrometry page. MILES Search Spreadsheet
Hello, My reading (sometimes a dangerous pass-time?) has caused me to ask some questions regarding the E(B-V) values in your fine MILES Search spreadsheet. I understand the difference between using reddened/dereddened data when processing spectra. I quote the following: E(B-V) is related to interste...

FITS Header fields data origins
Hello,
Can someone please explain where the data for following FITS header fields originates?:
RA
DEC
OBJECTRA
OBJECTDEC
I have images where the two RA values are the same (as are the two DEC values).
Regards,
Patrick
