Re: Camera and filter wheel no longer connecting
No changes on the hub. That is what is so odd. I have no idea what changed.

Re: Camera and filter wheel no longer connecting
They each plug into a USB hub on top of the scope and a single USB cable runs through the mount to the PC.

Camera and filter wheel no longer connecting
Came out tonight and the SX camera and SX filter wheel will not connect. I changed nothing from last night when they did connect. I turned the camera off and turned the PC off and rebooted after turning the camera back on but the same result. Any suggestions? I tested the connections on another prog...

Re: Initial alignment/Star Atlas/Plate Solve
Got the GSC issue resolved.- thanks
I think I can get a decent focus initially. I still do not understand how the moonlite does auto-focus and how that relates (if at all) to the auto-focus feature in AA7.

Re: Initial alignment/Star Atlas/Plate Solve
oh boy, will give it a go will plate solve work on not-so-well-focused images? One of my problems is trying to learn too many things at once, resulting in not learning them at all. Moonlite focuser new and filter wheel with OAG new (but not using guiding yet) and of course, anything in AA7 new. I al...

SX 814 m vs. c selection
I currently have my SX 814C on the scope. I do not see an option to choose between the 814m or 814c other than to check the VID/PID list and add the code. However, this is suppose to be for when you use 2 SX cameras at once. I am only going to do that when I connect the guide scope- which I have not...

Initial alignment/Star Atlas/Plate Solve
My initial alignment is off and my scope is way too up high to use the finder scope. I was hoping to use the Star Atlas tool to help me align or plate solve. I noticed that the Star Atlas does not open - I get an error saying: GSC not found. Do I need to down load this atlas from another source? Wha...

Re: AP Mach 1 not slewing
Yeah- that was not working either BUT I got it working now. I don't know what happened but all I did was get out of the program, get back in and it worked. Slewing was fine, camera connected, filter wheel connected, focuser connected (but need to check settings) and took a couple 30s images before t...

AP Mach 1 not slewing
Well- first time trying and nothing going right. I am connected through ASCOM driver to control the telescope. I entered coordinates to go to Capella but scope does not slew. It says I am connected to the ASCOM driver and the controls on the ASCOM v2 driver move the scope when I press them but no mo...

Re: Getting Started: Image capture
Good to know- I'll need all of the help that I can get. Lots of questions coming from me, I am sure but on first look this software seems to have everything I will need.
