Can't open image stacked with Pix Insight

I just tried to open an image from a friend that was stacked and saved with Pix Insight. This is how it looks and I opened the Fits header.
Has anyone encountered this before?

Binning CMOS ASI2900MC

When I select 2x2 binning is AA8 doing "software binning" for CMOS cameras? I noticed a check box for "Hardware binning" in the ASCOM driver.

I am about to go out to my dark site to image some galaxies and I don't want to waste "sky time" trying to figure this out.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Live Stacking ?

I have not used scripts as yet but this may be a good intro. I sometimes do EAA during nights of bad seeing and Live Stacking would be a nice capability added to AA.

Thanks

Live Stacking ?

Are there any plans to add Live Stacking capabilities to AA?

Re: Astroart 8

I am getting similar results....I just calibrated, DeBayered and Sigma combined 80 subs in 1:15 seconds with an i7 box with 32GB of ram and a 1TB SSD. Way faster than my old i5 8GB laptop.

Re: Astroart 8

Should I uninstall previous versions or will AA8 install over the AA7 files? I am trying to keep my computers from getting to cluttered.

Re: Difficulties to remove subtle gradients

I think it would be nice to have the option of making the background black or dark gray to make it easier on the eyes. It also would help reduce glare when doing image capture when using a red filter over the display. Just a thought for a future service pack. (^8

Re: Using "Multiscale high pass" on deep sky images

Great info....I just shot a bunch of galaxy images under poor seeing conditions and this gives me a better understanding of how to use it.

Thanks......now back to processing....

Re: Processing History

I too think that a way to record processing steps could be helpful. When I get absorbed in making an image as good as I can I can not always remember what I did. If I had a record of steps taken it might be possible to create macros to speed processing. Something to think about. John CCD-Freak WD5IKX
