Re: Star Atlas missing

Thanks Dunmunro, I knew it was disabled in AA8 demo. I have now got the Star Atlas working in AA7. I checked my downloaded install files but there was no sign of the catalogue for AA7. After a lot of searching on the internet I found many references to the GSC but the only place I found to download...

Re: Star Atlas missing

I have been using a licensed copy of AA7 for a couple of years and am now looking at AA8 (demo). But I can not get the Star Atlas to work as there is no catalogue. It was never there in AA7 either. But as my knowledge increase it would now be really good to have the Star Atlas. Where can I download...

Re: Connecting two cameras

I can connect either on their own as a Main Camera. The option to connect camera 2 doesn't become available until the camera 1 is connected. So the issue is that the 2nd camera can not connect, rather than it being specific to the GPC130. You could use a simulator for camera one and then connect th...

Re: Connecting two cameras

I have recently returned to Astro Imaging, after a break of several years, and have just upgraded from Astroart 5 to Astroart 8. My main imaging camera connects ok, but when I try to connect my guide camera, the software 'flags up' "cannot connect to camera". I have installed d_ASCOM_dll and g_ASCO...

ASTROART7 is able to preprocess comet tracking, but ASTROART8 can not preprocess comet tracking.
Did you use the 'follow minor planet' option?

Re: Strange Behavior with ZWO ASI294MM camera

Hi When I select ASCOM, none of my cameras show up in the list. I do have the latest version of ASCOM and drivers. You've installed the latest version of the ASCOM platform? https://ascom-standards.org/ When the ASCOM platform is installed and you install the ASI294MM specific drivers (and Astroart...

Is it possible to run Astroart on two computers with one license? I'd like to run it on my laptop at the telescope and on my big desktop when processing images.
As per the previous post you can install it on every PC that you own with a single license.

Re: Astroart 8

It’s perhaps “cheating” ;-) It’s a brand new Lenovo X1 laptop https://www.dropbox.com/s/x55q68ltjashizk/TaskManager_LenovoX1.png?raw=1 Thanks. Nice machine! It's over twice as fast as my fastest computer, but the preprocessing time is still impressive and it shows how well Astroart utilizes modern ...
