For flip detection you could use "Guider.LostStar" in your imaging script. If it returns True then have the script go to a sub script that starts with a pause long enough to be sure the flip has completed. Then takes an image, solve and sync to the image and GoTo your target. re calibrate your guide...

I'm not aware of a processing command. You could definitely script some of your processing using the image, star, masking commands and the macro script command.

Yes that is how it works.
The focuser must be ASCOM.
To activate the Autofocus you need to put 99999 in the focus section.

Hi Martin, if you are using ver.7 latest service pack. The sequencer can be set up to do what you want. Go to the AA help topics and search for Autofocus to learn how to set it up. Then search for sequence that will explain how to incorporate auto focus in a sequence. Here is a very simple sequence ...

I'm just guessing, since you said your balance was so perfect it might be a slight bit of play in the worm. You may want to try keeping your balance slightly heavy to the East.

Try 10% in the +- Horizontal field.

Are you guiding through a Guide scope? It could be mirror shift and or differential flexure. If you are using a guide scope try not dithering.

The Dark Frame choice in the image tab closes the camera shutter if the camera has one.
