Re: Spectroscopy
Hi, those settings are inside the Telescope Window of Astroart.
Those will be the settings used by the Astroart autoguide to send pulses to the "ASCOM telescope".
Fabio.

Re: Spectroscopy
Hi, from the Telescope Window select: "ASCOM driver" as GOTO "Same connection" as Guide Just the first time, select the TheSky driver inside the "ASCOM Chooser" . Later you may skip this step unselecting the option "Ascom Chooser". To take a look at the autoguide functions indoor, select instead "Si...

Re: Spectroscopy
Hi, do you mean that you use TheSkyX ASCOM virtual device to pass guide pulses to the telescope via TheSky? e.g. https://groups.google.com/g/open-phd-guiding/c/7m-b64gaj90 In this case it will work with Astroart as well, but I suggest a test with the demo version. Guiding on a slit for spectrography...

Re: Seestar S50 ASCOM control
Hi I've read that the Seestar S50 now comes with a standard ASCOM/Alpace driver so, all software ASCOM-compatible should be able to control it, Astroart as well. There could be only a possible problem: some new cameras now by default download images in color (i.e. with automatic debayering). This is...

Re: Primaluce Lab Essato 4” Focuser
Thanks for the feedback. I confirm that the edit boxes will be enlarged in the next Service Pack, and presets will be added as well. Well, if there's an option for decreasing those numbers inside their ASCOM driver I would enable it, that would be much more "user friendly", I really don't understand...

Re: AstroArt9 - Pixinsight
Hi, that would happen also with Astroart 8. The dynamic range of the image is 0 : 71920, so the image gets saved as 32 bit integer, which may not be supported by PI (the maximum range for 16 bit is 0 : 65535). So a solution is to convert it to floating point (menu "Edit/Data Format") before saving, ...

Re: maximum image size
Yes, please write me by email or PM.
In the past Windows Bitmaps were limited to 32k in size, so there is room to increase the maximum size from 24000 to 32000. Maybe Windows 64 bits has no limits at all.
Fabio.
