Re: color synthesis window

Are you using binning 1x1?

Verify also that the Bayer pattern is there.

If yes, try to change the X,Y offset (there are 4 combinations, 0/0, 0/1, 1/0, 1/1)

Re: lodestar (mis)communication

Hello, the bright green dot represents just the last correction. A correction of 4-5 pixels is outside the circles (max. is 3, unless you enlarge the window) so it's not visible in upper graph. To find out the problem, keep visible the "View" tab, and look at the actual star: was it extremely faint?...

Re: Wish List - Star Atlas and platesolve data base

Indeed, rotating by hand an OAG just to find a guide star is not productive in 2019. Another user preferred to autoguide with an exposure time of 6 seconds and this proved sufficient in all situations. For this task an experimental feature was added last year: "master dark frame correction for the g...

Re: Wish List - Star Atlas and platesolve data base

Hello, adding figures to the Atlas can be done easily. As you wrote, platesolving the guider may not work, and in any case it will not help to reach the guide star, since the guide camera will be moved blindly by hand. By the way: since an OAG just rotates around the main field, maybe the best infor...

As you can see on the attachments, the camera window is open and when I minimize it, it disappears instead of going to the lower left corner. All the windows I open do the same thing.
Maybe they are minimized on the Windows Taskbar? A screenshot of it would be useful.

Re: How to reopen a minimized window?

Hello, for the moment, you may solve closing those windows (Camera control, Telescope, Filter wheel, Scripts) instead of minimizing them. There is really no difference (all settings, connections, etc. will remain active). The window simply becomes "invisible", it's not deallocated. When a window is ...

Re: How to reopen a minimized window?

It looks like it's the same issue, maybe a new Windows 10 upgrade behaviour? Usually minimized windows are placed in the bottom-left area of the desktop: bars.jpg For the moment I suggest to don't minimize the Atlas window, instead just close it: doing so there is no difference nor performance penal...
