Re: Image.Rectangle Crop

Hi' I came up with this solution. Not so smooth as i was aimed for. But it' works The Crop will be in a Aspect Ratio of 3:2 Preselect a rectangle. The hight is used to calculate the crop width ' *** Aspect Ratio *** ' *** AstroArt 8 *** ' *** 28:11:21 Morten Lerager *** ' Make rectangle selection ' ...

Re: Image.Rectangle Crop

Thank's Fabio The goal is to crop in etc 3:2 format. As I understand the crop as it is, I'll have to do the calc. every time. The macro is for simulate crop as we know it in PS or Gimp. Make a selection with giving aspect ration. @Iver that way will only make the same crop every time. Same as the Im...

Image.Rectangle Crop

Hi' AA's (Nothing about Alcoholic) Trying to make it easy to crop to a known aspect ratio. I can make a crop by the Image.crop (x1,y1,x2,y2) But that's very "hard coded" (Inflexible) Then we have the Image.Rectangle but as I read it, it's only for returning size, not for setting. I want a macro to a...

Re: Sky Background

Ahh, thank you Rudi. Then it would not be possible to convert to Bortle I give. Bortle is for the eye, ADU for the camera, Gain etc. But the picture background are dark, and ADU 2100 is pretty dark  The curve shows me the sky getting darker as times goes by. Right until someone hits the lig...

Re: Sky Background

Thank's If I only gain 0.45% SNR then I didn't hat to stack them at all. And if I fiddle with the filenames it will come out with another table as you see. It's seems AA has it's one filename sorting. Expecting a numeric value in the file name. Report_Pacman_Reverse.JPG So I still want to know, what...

Sky Background

Hi' After a preprocessing with 20 frames of Pacman I get a Report I get a table where I can see the sky getting darker as time goes by : But how is this, to be read. What is the Y axe with a value of 2190 ? Can I translate it into a Bortle value https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bortle_scale Report_Pacm...

Re: Sigma + sum

Thanks again Iver Yes that was what I found in the manual. Nothing about sigma+sum. I am using dithering so my gees is the best is sigma. Remove hot pix and trails. Sum as I think about it should increase SNR. But it says for 8bit files. I think my cr2 files are 16bit. My result with sigma + sum are...

Re: Sigma + sum

I cant find it in the manual.
But then it must be Sigma for rejection and Sum for SNR

Thank You Iver
