Focuusing may be done remotely and wuthout removing the access panel.
Details are available from Leon Palmer at Rigel Systems.

Binning
Hello, My CCD camera is lmited to 1 x1 and 2 x 2 binning. If I captue an image using the camera set at 2 x 2 while camera options Software binning is set at 3 x 3, what is the actual result? Do I have four pixels formed into one (the 2 x 2 camera setting) with one read noise , which is then (the 3 x...

Re: FITS Header coordinates
Fabio, I noted ‘read from the mount’ as merely a suggestion to pssibly match your explanation. Very happy to have the option to calculate and record the local sidereal time in the image header using other data - at download. This also makes the time stamp the same (at download i.e. the end of the ex...

Re: FITS Header coordinates
Fabio,
Might it be possible to include the Sidereal Time property read from the mount as a Write to FITS header option?
Regards,
Patrick.

Hello,
Are the ra and dec coordinates as read from the mount and recorded in the FITS header - for the beginning of the exposure?

I am using AA9 SP1. I set up my telescope (CGX-L mount + ASCOM Celestron Telescope Driver ) and dome (Sirius 2.3M + MaxdomeII) in ASCOM Device Hub (DH). I do not connect the mount or dome in DH, instead choosing to use AA to control all my devices. Unlike telescope control where the user can park th...

No "Camera 1 relays" - but "ASCOM camera relays" works.

I am attempting to utilise Celestron's PEC Tool software which is successfully used on my CGX-L mount .This software connects to the mount via a Nexstar handset mini USB port at the handset base and occupies the COM port normally used for connecting to the mount. Hence the need to utilise the ST4 co...
